Thanksgiving weekend is in a few days. This will be a different year indeed with many restrictions on gatherings. However, we can still have virtual dinners, conversations and create new ways to connect. We simply have to. We need our family, friends and community connections to boost our immune system. We really do!
Take the time to go around the ‘table’ and let each person express their gratitude and share what they are thankful for in their lives. Big or small – they are all important. We reap what we sow – so let’s sow seeds for more of the good stuff in our lives.
I want to share a few things I am thankful for with you:
-the fact you are reading this newsletter is amazing. I create them to support your growth and to promote a healthy lifestyle.
– my family and friends more than ever
– long deep soulful conversations
– my home, kitty.cat and business
– the fall colours, the crisp cool air in the fall.
– sitting by the fire
– great books that inspire
And…giving thanks is a wonderful daily practice – this keeps that ‘good stuff’ flowing into our lives.
And in closing I would like to share a quote I simply adore:
“A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue,
but the parent of all other virtues.”
-Cicero
