Bring On the New!
As the year draws to a close it is natural to reflect on what has occurred in your life. A lot of questions may come up such as; “What’s next for me? Did I accomplish what I set out to do this year?”
One of the questions I feel important to also ask yourself is: “Can I be okay with this past year? Can I let go of whatever I didn’t complete and celebrate what I did achieve?” Shifting your focus and mindset to a more positive one is the best way to manifest what you wish to create in the coming year.
Two of the most common ‘failures’ I hear about are: weight loss and getting in shape. I coach my clients in reframing their new year’s resolutions first. I suggest they think more in terms of wellness and balance. This takes the pressure off a bit. Let’s be honest, how many times have you started new programs, and what has been the success rate? Why approach the same issues the same way – expecting a different result?
Here are a few easy and inexpensive ways to can change your physical
wellness right away:
• Drink more clean filtered water
• Cut out the junk food
• Eat less (or no) meat
• Rework your favourite meals to include more veggies
• Get out and walk 15 minutes 3x per week (minimum)
The brilliance of a brand new year is you have a change to begin anew. Why let the ‘coulda shoulda wouldas’ get in the way of a fresh new start? Set out with your fabulous new intentions and watch the dust fly!
I wish you an abundant 2017 filled with much love, passion and adventure.
As always I am here to support you in this life journey – and welcome your feedback.
