Giving back to the community I live in is important to me. I feel blessed to have been supported in my life when I needed it. Now I want to help make the world a better place in any way I can. I feel we are all connected and need to support one another by building strong relationships with the people we share this amazing planet with.

Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre is a sanctuary located near Kingston that rescues, rehabilitates and releases abandoned, injured and orphaned wildlife. There are many functions throughout the year including the annual Baby Shower, always on the first Sunday in May every year. Donations are accepted all year and are greatly appreciated.
Volunteers are needed in the summer months and supplies are always required:
(unscented laundry detergent, paper towels, bleach, toilet paper, dish detergent, garbage bags **extra large only**, building materials: 2 x 4′s, fencing, paving stones, blankets (can be second hand, but washed)
Any of the supplies can be taken directly to SPWC, dropped off to me or you can bring them to the Baby Shower.
